Change File for Stored Messages for Lotus Notes

Good day, friends. Welcome to today’s tutorial on changing the file used for storing messages by the lotus notes client.

1. click address book

2. click advanced folder

3. click locations

4. click internet

5. click mail tab

6. double-click value for mail file

7. change value for mail file to your new value (eg. mail\gno.nsf)

note:

  • you should place an ‘appropriate’ file called gno.nsf in the mail folder for lotus notes
  • this mail folder is usually at: c:\documents and settings\<username>\local settings\application data\lotus\notes\data\mail
  • use this task to access other files containing mail messages or even previously saved files from other pcs

8. click save and close
