Configure TCP IP for Mac OS X

Hi everyone, welcome to today’s tutorial. Today, we’ll be touching on configuring tcp ip settings for Mac OS X.

1. click Apple (really looks like an apple) icon at the top left corner of screen, and select System Preferences …

2. click Network icon (see the Internet & Network section)

3. at Network window, select Built-in Ethernet from the Show dropdown box

4. click the TCP/IP tab

5. select Manually from the Configure IPv4 dropdown box

6. enter appropriate values for ip address, subnet mask, router (this represents the ip address of your gateway router), dns servers

7. click Apply Now
