Configure Computer Suffix

Hi everyone, welcome to today’s ’series’ regarding DNS (Domain Name System). First, we begin the series with a look at how we can configure the computer’s primary dns suffix, which should be the same as the domain name for the computer.

1. select start > control panel > system

2. click the Computer Name tab, then click change

3. enter appropriate value for the computer name (eg. belldy)

4. click more

5. enter appropriate value for primary dns suffix of this computer, which should be the same as the domain name (eg. nfam.com)

6. Click Ok.

Line and paragraph breaks automatic, e-mail address never displayed, HTML allowed: <a href=""> <b> <blockquote> <code> <em> <i> <strike> <strong>. I unfortunately do not have a spoiler-code, so be sure mark spoilers well.
