Photoshop Add pattern to image

Poster after use add pattern effect
Hi everyone. Ever wonder how your laptop, phone, or other gadget or object would look using a different pattern, but you don’t want to actually paint it on the actual object yet. Well, let me show you how you can use photoshop, to save time, and create new ’skins’ for your laptop, phone or other gadget, without actually painting the real object.
1. press W, to select magic wand
2. click on laptop cover, to select the black laptop cover
3. press Q, to enter quick mask mode
4. press B, to select Brush tool
5. click brush dropdown box, and select a small hard brush
6. press D, to select default foreground color of black
7. press X, to switch foreground/background color, in this case, foreground color changes to white
8. click and drag on the part of the laptop cover which was not previously selected
9. press Q, to toggle back to standard mode (in this case, exit quick mask mode)
10. press Ctrl + J, to create copy of selection on a new layer
11. click Add Layer Effect, and select Pattern Overlay
12. click pattern dropdown box
13. click option menu for pattern dropdown box, and select Nature Patterns, and click Append button, to append or add the Nature Patterns to list of available patterns
14. double-click purple daisies pattern
15. select Color Dodge from blend mode dropdown box, and click OK
note: blend mode of overlay is also good to use, but if pattern looks too dark, you can try color dodge, which produces similar effect, but the colors are brighter
note: you can reduce the opacity of the blending mode, in case the pattern looks too intense
