Click new action button

4. Click New Action button of Action panel

5. Enter name for action, eg. Resize320×240

1. Now you can do some action, eg. resize an image to width of 320 and height of 240, then export as jpeg file, and then close the image

Create droplet:

Select create droplet

1. Select File > Automate > Create Droplet

Click choose for save droplet in section

2. Click Choose… button for Save Droplet In Section, to choose where to save droplet and what name to save it as, eg. in D:\img_process\temp\jpeg_Resize_320×240.exe

note: you can save to whatever directory you want, using whatever name you wish

3. Ensure there is a checkmark for ‘Include All Subfolders’, ‘Suppress File Open Options Dialog’, ‘Suppress Color Profile Warnings’, and ‘Override Action ‘Save As’ Commands’ checkboxes

Click choose for destination section

4. Click Choose… button for Destination Section, to select destination folder of changed images, eg. D:\img_process\temp

note: you can use whatever destination folder you want

5. Click OK button for Create Droplet dialog box, to create droplet in specified droplet location with specified name, eg. D:\img_process\temp\jpeg_Resize_320×240.exe

Use droplet:

Drag and drop folder containing images to be changed by action associated with droplet onto droplet

1. Drag and drop folder containing images to be changed onto the droplet, to cause photoshop to perform the action associated with the droplet on all the images in that folder (and even for any subfolders within that folder)
