Photoshop Selecting and Replacing Color



Use photoshop to select and replace a color.

Select lips area:

Select Magic Wand

1. select Magic Wand

2. change tolerance to 20

3. hold shift and click on the lips (press shift+click to add to current selection)

note:

if you make a mistake, and select an area you do not actually want, you can hold alt and click on the unwanted areas (press alt+click to remove from current selection)

Select Polygonal Lasso Tool

you can use other selection tools (eg. polygonal lasso tool, which is usually under lasso tool) to add to (hold down shift) or remove from (hold down alt) current selection.

Replace color in selected area:

Select Color Balance

1. select Image > Adjustments > Color Balance

Adjust color balance for more red

2. To make selected image ‘redder’, click and drag cyan-red slider toward red

3. click OK
